What will show up in your mind, when we talk about McDonald's? F rench fries, McNuggets, or  mildew  ice cream machine? Let see what most people are talking about with this brand in social media. Here is what McDonald's posted, which is just a common advertisement about their new menus. And it seems like McDonald's offered some very cheap deals this time.  We are all very familiar with McDonald's. The value proposition of McDonald's was created by its founder, Ken Croc, he claims that "McDonald's stands for friendliness, cleanliness, consistency, and convenience."   I pass by McDonald's every weekday when I go to school, however, I never plan to go inside and get some foods. Why? I am not the fans of fast food, especially for  McDonald's, as  there is a lot of negative news about their products. Fastest Growing E-commerce Company in China: Pingduoduo Recently, a company named Pinduoduo (PDD), which public a social E-commerce app, are very popular in China. Because I like shopping, I noticed DPP's app and have some shopping experience in this company.  There is more and more e-commerce app/company with the prevalence of online shopping in China, such as Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, Weipinhui. Pingduoduo was launch in 2015, it just takes about a year to grow their platform users from  15 million to  195 million. Why they are developing that fast? According to research, the primary customer of PDD is the less educated female that lives in small cities or 3rd cities. Also, most of these consumers are above 40 years old.   The most crucial  incentives  PDD attracting those people (the group of mid-age female always looking for  bargain-basement prices ) to purchase on their app is the group-buying discounts as deep as 90%. A Little Introduction About Me

About ME I am taking BA-223(Principle of Marketing) this fall term as that is a prerequisite for getting into the pro-business at OSU. In this class, I hope that I can learn about some  marketing  strategies that will be useful to assist my mother's business, so I am very excited about it.  In my daily life, I always enjoy the time when I spend on cooking. I love cooking as I like creating different kinds of dishes and have my family or friends taste it for me. If they like it, I will feel so proud of my products. Otherwise, I will try to improve the menu again and again until they are satisfied with my dishes. The sense of achievement after unremitting endeavor  is better than the feeling of success at the first try. Also, I love spending my time on drawing since from elementary school. My mom was always supportive whatever what do I want to do. I really appreciate her for sending me to the artist school to improve my skills of drawing, which help me a lot in my life.  Both
